Teacher writes the topic on the blackboard

Teacher : There are eight parts of speech they are noun ; pronoun ;                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

                 adjective ; verb ; adverb ; prepositions ; conjunction ;    interjection.

Teacher writes noun on the blackboard

Teacher : First let us see what a noun is

Noun enters into the classroom

Noun : hi friends my name is noun. I am a naming word .

              examples are  Meera ; Raja ;London ; pen etc

Examples enter the class an repeat

Example : I repeat Meera ; Raja ; London ; pen etc

Noun and example exit

Teacher : next part of speech is pronoun.

Teacher writes pronoun on the blackboard

Pronoun enters the classroom

Pronoun : hi friends. I am pronoun. I take the place of a noun.

                   I , you , he , she , it , they , their , me , you, him , her , etc. take specific noun place.

Example enters the classroom

Example : I repeat…I, you ,he, she , it , they , their , me , you , him , her , etc.

Teacher : Okay! Let us study the third part of speech that is ADJECTIVE

Teacher writes ADJECTIVE on the blackboard

Adjective : Hi all I am ADJECTIVE. I describe or modify ; nouns and pronouns. Examples are numbers like first ; second words like caring; loving etc.

Example enters the classroom

Example : I repeat numbers like first ; second words like caring, loving etc.

Teacher : now lets learn the fourth and important part of speech and it is verb.

Teacher writes it on the blackboard

Verb : hi friends. I am the fourth part of speech and I am verb

I show actions or states of being .

Example : running , jumping , sleeping etc.

Teacher : Have you all understood what verb is?

Students : yes.

Teacher : now lets study the fifth part of speech ie ; ADVERB. what is it?

Students ; ADVERB.

Adverb enters the classroom and introduce itself.

Adverb : may I introduce myself. I am adverb. I modifies verb and adjectives eg : merrily, happily, etc.

Example enters the classroom  

Example : I repeat merrily , happily , etc.

Teacher : now lets learn the sixth part of speech that is , prepositions.

Preposition enter the classroom

Prepositions : good morning friends. I am preposition. I show the relationship between a noun and a pronoun.eg on , at , in , before , after , etc.

Example :I repeat  on , in , at , before , after , etc.

Teacher : now lets learn the seventh part of speech that is conjunction.

Conjunction enters.

Conjunction : I will introduce myself. I am conjunction. I join two or more word; phrases or clauses. And, as, because, but, neither, nor etc.

Example enters.

Example : I repeat and , as , because , but , neither , nor etc.

Conjunction and example exit.

Teacher : the next part of speech is interjection. I repeat the next part of speech is interjection.

Interjection enters.

Interjection : Hello friends , I am interjection. I show excitement or emotion. for example wow ! , alas! , hurray! , phew.etc

Example enters 

Example : I repeat wow! Alas! Hurray! Phew. etc bye

Interjection and example exit

Teacher : so the eight part of speech are noun , pronoun , adjective , verb , adverb , prepositions , conjunction and interjection.

Teacher : okay I will give  you a task. Can anyone frame a  sentence using all the parts of speech. I challenge you.

(Student one rise up)

 Student 1: yes miss I can.

   Teacher : yes tell me.

   Student1 :   Raja and Meera are in London

 Teacher : sorry it does not include all   the parts of speech. Anyone else.

(student one sits)

(Student 2 rise up)

Student 2 : miss may I

Teacher : yes you may

Student 2 : Wow! Raja and Meera are merrily enjoying their first trip in London.

Teacher : Wow! Excellent give her a great applause

Students : no
